CrownCards Responsible Purchasing Policy
Last updated and effective date: November 6, 2026
1. Shopping and Collecting Responsibly
Operated by Crown Cards LLC, CrownCards is an application for shopping and collecting physical Items. Its purchasing features include blind-box Packs. Before purchase, the Platform shows information about each Pack, such as its odds, value ranges and some of its possible Items; the specific Item you receive is revealed after purchase. Under the Terms of Use, users can inspect the resulting Items in inventory, request shipment of eligible Items, or accept a Return when offered. Animations and other Reveal Presentations under Section 5.14 of the Terms of Use, rewards, and surprise outcomes form part of this shopping and collecting experience.
CrownCards encourages purchasing and collecting within your financial means and as part of a balanced lifestyle. Collecting should be enjoyable. Features such as blind-box purchases can encourage repeated shopping, and some users may find it difficult to control purchases or spending. This Policy addresses those risks, supports informed purchasing choices, and explains the available purchasing restrictions.
This Policy is incorporated into the CrownCards Terms of Use, available at https://www.crowncards.io/legal/terms. Unless defined here, capitalized terms carry the meanings assigned in those Terms. It describes the available means of limiting or suspending purchases and what exclusion or self-exclusion entails. Account deletion, CrownCards-initiated exclusions, Exclusion Periods, and promotions are governed by Sections 2.4, 2.8, 2.9, and 6.10 of the Terms of Use. Subject to applicable law, the Terms of Use prevail over a conflicting provision here.
It is your responsibility to track and manage purchases, Account funding, and spending; decide whether continued Platform use is appropriate; and seek suspension, self-exclusion, or another available restriction when appropriate. Keep your spending within your means. Purchases, Items, Returns, and possible resale values should not be treated as income or a means of recovering earlier spending. If responsible use is no longer possible, stop purchasing, activate the available restrictions, and seek appropriate assistance.
2. Choosing a Suspension or Self-Exclusion
Use the App's suspension or self-exclusion controls when you want to pause shopping and collecting or limit purchasing.
The controls in the App are the only means of initiating your own Account suspension or self-exclusion. The available options, duration, and scope are shown as you make your selection. Invoking the controls is your responsibility. In-app support or support@crowncards.io can assist if you cannot access or operate them, but a support contact does not itself start a user-initiated suspension or self-exclusion.
A restriction you select through an Account control begins upon confirmation by the Platform. CrownCards retains its separate authority to restrict access under Section 2.8 of the Terms of Use or as applicable law requires.
You must not bypass an exclusion or suspension by creating or using a different Account, accessing someone else's Account, or supplying different registration, identity, device, or payment details. The Terms of Use continue to apply, including their prohibitions on multiple Accounts and shared Accounts.
A fixed-period self-exclusion continues for the selected period and cannot be ended early at your request. An indefinite suspension ends only with CrownCards' approval of reinstatement. Reopening an Account, undoing its deletion, or registering a new Account does not end a permanent self-exclusion.
Reinstatement need not occur automatically when a selected period expires. CrownCards may ask for a reinstatement request, verification, or other reasonable checks, and may continue or impose restrictions allowed by the Terms of Use or law. Restrictions concerning another Account, transaction, or legal or compliance matter are unaffected.
3. Existing Balances and Items During Exclusion
Throughout a health-and-safety Exclusion Period, whether you or CrownCards initiated it, you cannot add funds, buy Platform credit or Packs, complete a Card Trade-In, purchase other Items, or spend existing Account balances or Promotional credit on purchases. Fuse and other transactions that acquire additional Items or continue purchasing are likewise unavailable. CrownCards may permit Account-management or ancillary functions in its discretion, such as username changes. That permission does not lift the exclusion or allow activity prohibited during it.
During an Exclusion Period, you may still request withdrawal of eligible Wallet amounts, including held Return value released on completion of playthrough, through a Return Proceeds Request under Sections 6.6 through 6.8 of the Terms of Use. Purchased Platform credit, Bonus Cash, and other Promotional credit cannot themselves be withdrawn, except as the law requires. Section 6.10 of the Terms of Use and the Promotional Terms govern whether promotional Return consideration is credited as Net Return Proceeds or recorded as Bonus Cash, and any later release of held Return value to the Wallet. Verification, payment-processing, sanctions, fraud, legal, and other valid holds remain applicable.
For Items already held in your Account, you may seek shipment if eligible or complete an available Return. The normal conditions in the Terms of Use, including eligibility, fees, and verification, still apply. Contact support if access restrictions prevent submitting the request in the App. These options do not allow new purchases or Fuse Transactions, and no Return offer is guaranteed.
Fraud, security, sanctions, legal, or other compliance exclusions may carry further restrictions under the Terms of Use or applicable law. A health-and-safety exclusion does not lift restrictions that apply independently.
4. Promotional Benefits and Referrals
An exclusion does not necessarily end existing promotions or Promotional credit. They may stay active, subject to Section 6.10 of the Terms of Use and their particular grant terms, including expiration, forfeiture, playthrough, and other conditions. An Exclusion Period does not automatically prolong an expiration date, complete playthrough, or turn Bonus Cash or other Promotional credit into Net Return Proceeds. Subject to law, CrownCards retains its rights under the applicable terms to change, suspend, cancel, or terminate promotions.
Referral credits are paused while an Exclusion Period continues and terminated upon permanent exclusion. A promotional amount or referral credit entered in error neither lifts the exclusion nor permits purchasing. CrownCards may correct the entry as provided by the Terms of Use and applicable law.
A continuing promotion, promotional balance, or accrual does not oblige or entitle you to start purchasing again or bring an exclusion to an end. Communication preferences and restrictions imposed by applicable law continue to govern.
Even during an Exclusion Period, submitting a Return Proceeds Request or asking for shipment triggers the relevant Bonus Cash forfeiture rules in Section 6.10 of the Terms of Use. Before submitting either request, read those rules and the applicable Promotional Terms.
5. Assistance and Purchasing Controls
For questions about purchasing restrictions, access to the App's controls, or existing balances and collectibles during an Exclusion Period, contact our support team in the App or at support@crowncards.io. Section 2 of this Policy explains that contacting support does not itself activate a user-initiated suspension or self-exclusion.
CrownCards may make additional purchasing and collecting controls available alongside the suspension and self-exclusion tools described in the Terms of Use. The App or customer support will describe available options. We may modify or discontinue those additional tools and do not guarantee their availability, except to the extent required by the Terms of Use or law.
6. Understanding Spending Risks
Buy on purpose, within a budget that fits your responsibilities and daily life. Buying collectibles compulsively can damage your finances, your relationships and your health. Features such as surprise contents and rewards can make it tempting to keep buying.
Warning signs to watch for:
- You hide purchases from people close to you, or feel guilty or anxious afterward.
- Collecting is crowding out work, family or other commitments.
- You buy again to make up for what you already spent, or to get the same feeling as an earlier reveal.
- You have spent money meant for other things, borrowed to buy, or gone over the budget you set.
- Time in the App is cutting into your sleep or daily routine.
- You plan to stop or cut back, but keep going anyway.
Habits that help:
- Use the App's suspension or self-exclusion controls as soon as you want a break.
- Set a spending limit before you open the App and check your purchase history against it.
- Put a time limit on your sessions.
- Step away when you feel stressed or upset instead of buying to feel better.
- Keep in mind that surprise contents and rewards can make you want to keep buying.
If shopping or spending is getting hard to control for you or someone you know, a financial counselor or mental health professional can help. Collecting should add to your life, not take away from it.
For some people, buying collectibles, especially blind-box Packs, can become compulsive and lead to financial, emotional or relationship problems. CrownCards does not claim that its products or features remove that risk. By using the Platform, you confirm that you meet the age requirements in the Terms of Use, that you understand these risks, and that you will spend only what you can comfortably afford.
7. Restrictions Initiated by CrownCards
Under the Terms of Use, CrownCards may exclude you or suspend or restrict access to some or all of the Platform for a specified or indefinite period. Health-and-safety decisions may take account of information supplied by you or on your behalf, including support communications. CrownCards is not obliged to reinstate access.
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, CrownCards does not assume a general duty to monitor purchasing, Account funding, spending, sessions, or other behavior to decide whether exclusion is appropriate or whether you should continue using the Platform. This does not limit our right to examine information or operate fraud, security, AML, sanctions, and other compliance controls under Section 7 of the Terms of Use, or diminish any duty imposed by law.
8. Deletion and Exclusion Have Different Effects
Deleting an Account does not replace suspension or self-exclusion. Account deletion may be reversed under Section 2.4 of the Terms of Use; deletion alone does not permanently bar Platform use. For a permanent restriction, use the App's self-exclusion controls.
Section 2.4 of the Terms of Use governs what happens to balances and inventory when you voluntarily delete an Account. Asking for a health-and-safety suspension or self-exclusion does not itself request deletion or authorize forfeiting otherwise lawful Wallet funds, independently owed payments, or rights concerning existing Items. Unless the Terms of Use or applicable law provides otherwise, restoring a deleted Account does not restore forfeited entitlements or end an independent exclusion.
9. Earlier Transactions and Available Remedies
Suspension or self-exclusion imposed later does not alone create a right to a refund, reimbursement, reversal, or other remedy for purchases, Account funding, or other spending before the Exclusion Period. An earlier transaction remains subject to Section 6.14 of the Terms of Use and its other applicable provisions.
Insofar as applicable law permits, CrownCards assumes no responsibility for your choice to keep purchasing, your failure to activate an available restriction, or an allegation that your spending or other activity should have caused CrownCards to infer that you needed exclusion. This Policy does not waive nonwaivable rights, excuse noncompliance with legal duties, or permit transactions barred during an Exclusion Period.
10. Updates and Sources of Assistance
CrownCards may revise this Policy in accordance with the Terms of Use. Share feedback about responsible collecting and purchasing through in-app support or support@crowncards.io.
In-app support or support@crowncards.io can assist with access to or use of restriction controls, access to an eligible withdrawal, and shipment or an available Return of an existing Item.
